Gleb is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Moscow Community College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $800.
The registrar has said Gleb can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Gleb has a 3.6 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Gleb would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Gleb isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Gleb.
Sure. The biggest one is textbooks and materials, $35. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for looking so closely.
