Gilles was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in August. The oncology team at Paris Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Gilles is 34, worked as a tailor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Paris Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $10,050 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,000 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $610 • Scans and lab work: $1,450 • Transport to Paris Regional Medical Center: $990 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Sophie
