Help Fabrice with a plumber's skills: a septic backup
A plumber is needed to repair a septic backup at the home of a family of 5.

In March an inspector told me that my home has a septic backup. It's a safety risk for me and my newborn. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $900 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed plumber who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $280.
The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a plumber and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

So sorry you're going through this, Fabrice. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.

Good luck, Fabrice. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best!
Wishing you the best. Looking forward to the next update. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Ottawa.
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. After 22 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
