Help Esperanza patch the roof before winter
Esperanza, a disabled veteran, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in San Jose.

I'm a disabled veteran living in San Jose. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,150, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Stay strong. Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Kisumu
sending love. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Take care
Thanks for sharing this, Esperanza. I hope things turn around soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Khulna
