Help Eleanor patch the roof before the monsoon
Eleanor, a disabled veteran, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Worcester.

I'm a disabled veteran living in Worcester. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $2,650, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you for reading my story.

keep going, Eleanor. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. After 26 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
