Help Efe with a plumber's skills: a leaking gas line

Efe has a leaking gas line, and can't afford a licensed plumber to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In August an inspector told me that my home has a leaking gas line. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $410 are beyond us. I'm looking for a licensed plumber who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $35. The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request. If you're a plumber and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Hope this works out for you. After 26 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.

    • Take care. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. We're a small family in Kisumu but we're thinking of you

      • Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Çankaya.

        • Take care. Shared this with my family. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from London.

          • stay strong, Efe. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
