Jinja
Namukasa, my wife, passed away on 8 July after a short illness. She was 24 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $550 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 24 July. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Namukasa to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Jinja hospice. Where the $550 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $300 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $210 • Transport of the deceased: $20 • Memorial gathering for the family: $20 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
