Help Collins restart a phone repair counter in Dodoma after a fire in the building
A phone repair counter in Dodoma needs help replacing a soldering station and testing tools after a fire in the building.

For nine years I have run a phone repair counter in Dodoma. In May, a fire in the building took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $270
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $105
• Shop repairs and licensing: $30
• Working capital for the first month: $95
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
hope it all works out, Collins. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I hope August is when things finally get easier. God bless.
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Collins.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. replacing a soldering station and testing tools is the biggest at $270. Let me know if you want more detail.
thinking of you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
So sorry you're going through this, Collins. Looking forward to the next update. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
good luck. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Take care.
Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Newcastle upon Tyne so I could bring a meal. Blessings
