Clement was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in April. The oncology team at Accra Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Clement is 42, worked as a taxi driver until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Accra Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,100 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $160 • Scans and lab work: $100 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $50 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $790 Thanks for reading all this.
