Help Carol patch the roof before the autumn rains
The roof at Carol's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Tallahassee. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $5,000, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you for reading my story.

Hang in there, Carol. Shared this with my family. Greetings from Pretoria
Sending good thoughts. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Corpus Christi.
Praying for you, Carol. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Tallahassee
Take care, Carol. Looking forward to the next update. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Love from Mumbai.
