Help Carmen keep the the Harvest Pantry pantry stocked
Carmen runs a volunteer pantry feeding 215 families; this fund restocks shelves for the harvest gap.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Wednesday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 215 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 60% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 9 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Houston market and keep every receipt.
Each $60 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $3,750 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $2,150
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $840
• Baby formula and diapers: $480
• Refrigeration and electricity: $280
Glad we found this place.

Stay strong, Carmen. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Take care.
