Help Brielle patch the roof before the autumn rains
The roof at Brielle's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a retired bus driver living in Newcastle upon Tyne. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $3,200, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I hope life is good to you.

You're not alone, Brielle. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Sending love. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless
Keep going. This could happen to any of us. Greetings from Toronto.
Hope things get better soon, Brielle. Shared it with a few friends. I hope October is when things finally get easier.
Wishing you the best. Hope this works out for you. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Badagry.
