I'm a disabled veteran living in New York. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,550, which isn't something I can pay. The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over one long weekend. Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks. The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too. Glad we found this place.

  • wishing you the best. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.

    • Stay strong, Brandon. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.

      • Hope things get better soon, Brandon. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I hope December is when things finally get easier. Take care!
