Bhavani was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in March. The surgeon at Nagpur General Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and She is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,000, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $750 short.
my wife has been in and out of Nagpur General Hospital since March. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Bhavani struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Bhavani won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. surgeon and anesthesia fees is the biggest at $300. I'll keep the page updated.
