I'm a widowed grandmother living in Chattogram. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $550, which isn't something I can pay. The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over two Saturdays. Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks. The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

    • Best of luck. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Oakland.
