4 rounds of treatment are planned at San Jose Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Ayaan was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in August. The oncology team at San Jose Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Ayaan is 53, worked as a taxi driver until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Jose Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $7,850 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $2,250 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,350 • Scans and lab work: $1,250 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
