Help Auma get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
After fourteen years of service, Auma is raising funds for a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

I served fourteen years in the air force and was discharged in 2023 with a back injury. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $600.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $600 goes:
• Transport to appointments: $90
• Essential household items: $60
• Training provider fees: $450
Glad we found this place.
