Help Aria patch the roof before the monsoon
Aria, a disabled veteran, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in San Diego.

I'm a disabled veteran living in San Diego. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,600, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Good luck. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. I'll check back for the next update.
Good luck. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Lahore.
You're not alone, Aria. Looking forward to the next update.
