Help Anthony restart a roadside café in Halifax after a storm that collapsed the roof
Anthony has run a roadside café for four years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $3,800 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a roadside café in Halifax. In October, a storm that collapsed the roof took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,800 goes:
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $2,600
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $440
• Shop repairs and licensing: $340
• Working capital for the first month: $420
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hope it all works out, Anthony. Hope this works out for you. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
Keep going. Small businesses are the heart of Halifax. Hope you're open again soon. My husband and I read this together. Blessings.
So sorry you're going through this, Anthony. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Hanoi.
sending love. Hope you make a strong comeback. After 8 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Halifax
