Yusuf, my uncle, passed away on 2 February after complications from pneumonia. He was 34 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $350 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 19 February.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Yusuf to have a dignified farewell.
