Ananya is one semester away from finishing a law degree but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $250.

Ananya is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a law degree at Chennai Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $250.
The registrar has said Ananya can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ananya has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ananya would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Ananya isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Chennai Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $250 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $15
• Final term tuition: $190
• Textbooks and materials: $45
Glad we found this place.

Sending good thoughts, Kavita. Good luck with the exams, you've got this.
Good luck, Kavita. Hope you get there.
take care, Kavita. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Wish I lived closer to London so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Chennai.
Thinking of you and your family, Kavita. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
