Help Amol patch the roof before the rainy season
Amol, a disabled veteran, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in Pune.

I'm a disabled veteran living in Pune. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $570, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you for reading my story.

You're not alone, Amol. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best
Take care, Amol. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
Thinking of you and your family, Amol. Shared it with a few friends.
Good luck, Amol. I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from Salem.
Sending love. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Pune
