Help Alka with residency renewal filing and attorney fees
Help Alka cover the fees of a residency renewal so She can stay with her family.
🇮🇳 India964 views
Alka is facing a residency renewal. The hearing is scheduled for August, and the filing fees and the lawyer's retainer come to $600. Three legal-aid offices have said their waiting lists are longer than the deadline.
Alka has all the paperwork ready, and a caseworker at the Indore Community Legal Centre has confirmed that the case is valid.
If the deadline is missed Alka could lose the right to stay with the family and the job. The children were born here and this is the only home they know.
The money goes to the immigration attorney's trust account and the court filing office. I'll upload receipts with sensitive details removed.
Where the $600 goes:
• Court-appointed interpreter and travel: $30
• Attorney retainer: $440
• Filing and biometrics fees: $130
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Sending love. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too
Hope it all works out. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Sent it to 3 people at work. Greetings from Pasig.
