Help Alice keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Montpellier is running low just as demand rises; $2,950 will stock it for 8 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Thursday from the back of a community center. We started with 15 families, and now we feed 210 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 30% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Montpellier market and keep every receipt.
Each $40 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,950 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,500
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $840
• Baby formula and diapers: $340
• Refrigeration and electricity: $270
With deep gratitude,
Alice

Wanted to say thank you properly. 25% funded and the plan for refrigeration and electricity is now scheduled.
We're at 7% thanks to 8 of you. I made the first payment toward fresh vegetables and fruit. More news soon.

Hope it all works out, Alice. Shared this with my family. Thinking of Montpellier.
You're not alone, Alice. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from El Paso.
Rooting for you. More neighborhoods should do this. Greetings from Aurora
Hope things get better soon. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care
