Help Akira patch the roof before winter
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Nagoya?

I'm a home-care aide living in Nagoya. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $3,400, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thinking of you and your family, Akira. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless.
Hope you get there. Thinking of Nagoya
Hang in there, Akira. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Ottawa.
