Help Akello finish a pharmacy diploma at Dar es Salaam State College - $700 to go

Akello is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a pharmacy diploma at Dar es Salaam State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700. The registrar has said Akello can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Akello has a top-ten-percent average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Akello would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Akello isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Dar es Salaam State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $700 goes: • Final term tuition: $460 • Textbooks and materials: $15 • Outstanding tuition balance: $225 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Mwende
