Help Abril through 6 rounds of treatment for cervical cancer
6 rounds of treatment are planned at the Ciudad de México Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Abril was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August. The oncology team at the Ciudad de México Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Abril is 48, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Ciudad de México Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $760
• Transport to the Ciudad de México Oncology Institute: $120
• Scans and lab work: $370
