Help Aarati through 4 rounds of treatment for thyroid cancer
Aarati is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Aarati was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August. The oncology team at the Kathmandu Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Aarati is 37, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Kathmandu Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $75
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $860
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $65

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in St. Louis donated after I showed her your page. Love from St. Louis.
Hope you get there. It's not much but it's yours. God bless.
Sending good thoughts, Manisha. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
Wishing you peace. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Iztapalapa
