Help a family move in Springfield - 4-hour job

A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Springfield.

Springfield
After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Springfield, and the lease starts on Saturday. I have my elderly father, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers. I'm hoping for four volunteers for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel. The old place is on the second floor and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me. I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
