Alexa has found a safe new apartment in Shreveport and needs help moving heavy furniture on Friday.

After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Shreveport, and the lease starts on Friday. I have my elderly father, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for a few strong people for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
