Help a family move in Salem - 4-hour job
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Salem.
🇮🇳 Salem, Tamil Nadu, India986 views
After an unsafe stairwell, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Salem, and the lease starts on Tuesday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
I hope life is good to you.
