After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Mombasa, and the lease starts on Saturday. I have my elderly father, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers. I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel. The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me. I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer. I hope life is good to you.

    • You're not alone, Hamisi. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor in San Francisco donated after I showed her your page. All the best

      • Hang in there, Hamisi. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings
