Help a family move in Durham - 4-hour job
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Durham.
🇺🇸 Durham, North Carolina, United States968 views
After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Durham, and the lease starts on Monday. I have three kids, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Hang in there, Denise. Shared this with my family. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.
