Heating shut-off notice: help Thanaporn pay $250
Thanaporn is behind on heating bills after losing my job in March and needs $250 to avoid a shut-off.

The heating account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless I pay $250. I have never been late before losing my job in March.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $35 first, which I don't have.
I live with a newborn, and going through the rainy season without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $250 goes:
• Utility arrears: $155
• Reconnection and late fees: $45
• Down payment on a payment plan: $50
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Wishing you peace, Thanaporn. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon.
Thinking of you and your family. I hope things turn around soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
Best of luck, Thanaporn. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
