Hatem needs a commercial oven to reopen a neighborhood bakery
A neighborhood bakery in Seville needs help replacing a commercial oven after a storm that collapsed the roof.
🇪🇸 Seville, Andalusia, Spain1,573 views
For three years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Seville. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $380
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $390
• Replacing a commercial oven: $1,380
With deep gratitude,
Hatem

Hope it all works out, Hatem. Hope you get there. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
