Hassan is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

In February I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. My oncology team at Dammam Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in May. I was told to expect about 8 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 57, I worked as a nurse until February, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Dammam Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $300
• Transport to Dammam Cancer Centre: $520
• Scans and lab work: $860
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,270
