I'm six months into recovery from stimulant addiction. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week. I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like. I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Good luck, Hasan. Get well soon. Put this on a community board in Ikeja this morning

    • look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.

You're not alone, Hasan. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 17 years in social work I know how hard it is to ask for anything.

        • Rooting for you, Hasan. Looking forward to the next update

          • Take care, Hasan. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
