Halima is six months into recovery and looking for a guide

A weekly call with someone who has been through it - that's the whole ask.

I'm six months into recovery from cannabis dependence. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week. I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like. I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later. Thank you so much.

  • Stay strong, Halima. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Dammam donated after I showed her your page. Take care

    • Thinking of you, Halima. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest.

      • Take care. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.

        • You're not alone. Wishing Halima a smooth procedure and a full recovery.

          • Praying for you. Wishing Halima a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
