Guilherme needs someone who understands: peer support in recovery
A weekly call with someone who has been through it - that's the whole ask.

I'm ninety days into recovery from alcohol dependence. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week.
I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like.
I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later.

This could happen to any of us. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Glasgow
Good luck. Shared this with my family. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care.
Wishing you the best, Guilherme. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. After 21 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Take care. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care.
Take care, Guilherme. Get well soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless
