I'm Yeshi, 16, in Form 6. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study computer science. I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at my church youth group and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work. I'm looking for an hour a week until September. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request. Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

      • So sorry you're going through this. Study hard! My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Mekelle.

        • Hope you get there. We're a small family in Sacramento but we're thinking of you. God bless

            • sending strength. This could happen to any of us. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings
