I'm Swetha, 19, in Form 6. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study civil engineering.
I have a distinction average, I volunteer at my church youth group and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until November. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
I hope life is good to you.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Fort Portal
Wishing you peace, Swetha. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Put this on a community board in London this morning.
Take care, Swetha. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Kota
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. After 30 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
