I'm Mohit, 16, in Year 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study economics.
I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at my church youth group and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until April. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hang in there. This could happen to any of us. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Take care.
Sending good thoughts, Mohit. Shared it with a few friends. God bless.
stay strong, Mohit. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn.
Wishing you the best. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Dwarka.
keep going. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
