Guidance wanted: Mia's university applications
Looking for a graduate who can spend an hour a week reviewing Mia's essays until March.
🇺🇸 United States72 views
I'm Mia, 19, in Year 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study psychology.
I have a top-of-class average, I volunteer at my mosque and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until March. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending love, Mia. This could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Accra this morning.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Thane
Keep going, Mia. Hope this works out for you. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
