I'm Lan, 19, in Form 6. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study psychology.
I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at my mosque and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until October. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thinking of you, Lan. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
hope it all works out. Looking forward to the next update. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Hồ Chí Minh City.
keep going, Lan. Hope this works out for you. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
best of luck. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. God bless.
rooting for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I hope October is when things finally get easier.
thanks for sharing this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. God bless.
best of luck, Lan. Hope you get there. I hope October is when things finally get easier.
Hope things get better soon, Lan. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Mangaluru so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Patna

Praying for you, Lan. Shared it with a few friends. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
