Guidance wanted: Kristine's university applications
Looking for a graduate who can spend an hour a week reviewing Kristine's essays until November.
🇵🇭 Philippines240 views
I'm Kristine, 17, in my final year of high school. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study economics.
I have a 3.7 average, I volunteer at an after-school program and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until November. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'll check back for the next update. Love from Dehiwala
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to San Diego so I could bring a meal. Take care
Sending strength, Kristine. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
