I'm Kiprop, 16, in Grade 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study biomedical science. I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at a food pantry and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work. I'm looking for an hour a week until April. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request. Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

take care, Kiprop. This could happen to any of us. It's not much but it's yours. Take care

      • Take care, Kiprop. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care!

        • Sending love. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Blessings.
