I'm Kipchoge, 16, in Grade 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study architecture.
I have a top-of-class average, I volunteer at a food pantry and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until September. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Sending strength, Kipchoge. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless.
this could happen to any of us. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Likoni.
thinking of you, Kipchoge. Gave what I could, wish it was more. All the best.
Best of luck, Kipchoge. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Fresno.
hope things get better soon, Kipchoge. Study hard! All the best.
