I'm Hani, 16, in Form 6. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study psychology.
I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at an after-school program and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until September. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hang in there, Hani. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from San Diego.
Wishing you the best, Hani. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Medan
This could happen to any of us. Wish I lived closer to Stellenbosch so I could bring a meal. God bless
