Guidance wanted: Eugene's university applications
Looking for a graduate who can spend an hour a week reviewing Eugene's essays until October.
Anywhere in the world1,270 views
I'm Eugene, 18, in Form 6. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study architecture.
I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at a food pantry and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until October. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Thank you for reading my story.

Praying for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of Austin.
so sorry you're going through this, Eugene. Hope this works out for you. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend
Thinking of you and your family, Eugene. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings
Best of luck, Eugene. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.
Stay strong, Eugene. Shared it with a few friends. Blessings
