Guidance wanted: Donal's university applications
Looking for a graduate who can spend an hour a week reviewing Donal's essays until October.

I'm Donal, 19, in my final year of high school. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study computer science.
I have a distinction average, I volunteer at an after-school program and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until October. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Glad we found this place.

Wishing you the best, Donal. Looking forward to the next update. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from San Jose
Praying for you, Donal. Hope this works out for you.
Good luck, Donal. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Sherbrooke.
Hope it all works out, Donal. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Dublin.
Wishing you peace. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Dublin
